OPS is on a mission to make therapy accessible. Therapy is the most effective when it is safe, convenient and comfortable. My goal with OPS is to remove the stigma and de-mystify therapy services. Online therapy offers the benefit of scheduling flexibility beyond traditional business hours and also allows you to participate from anywhere you have privacy and feel comfortable.

No waiting lists or waiting rooms, no travel time. Just accessible services anytime, from anywhere in Ontario.

About OPS

I started OPS because I wanted to make mental health support more accessible and flexible for those who need it most. I recognized that many people face significant barriers to traditional in-person therapy, whether it’s due to geographic limitations, busy schedules, or the fear of stigma. Online therapy eliminates these obstacles, allowing individuals to access care from the comfort of their own homes, without having to worry about travel or taking time off work. This flexibility makes it easier for clients to prioritize their mental well-being, even in the midst of busy or challenging lives.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate their personal challenges. I believe in meeting people where they are—both physically and emotionally—and providing tailored support that works for each unique situation. By offering online therapy, I can reach a broader range of individuals, helping them build resilience and find the tools they need to live more fulfilling lives. It’s a way to ensure that mental health care is available to everyone, regardless of location or circumstance, and that people have the opportunity to thrive.

Values

Emphasis on the mind-body connection

As a therapist, I deeply value the mind-body connection, recognizing how intricately mental and emotional well-being are intertwined with physical health. I believe that the body holds onto past experiences and trauma, and that healing can only be fully achieved when both the mind and body are addressed in therapy. By integrating mindful awareness, somatic practices, and traditional therapeutic techniques, I aim to help clients foster greater self-awareness and balance, encouraging them to heal holistically. This approach empowers clients to not only process their emotions but also listen to and nurture their bodies as they work toward lasting growth and transformation.

Authenticity

I may be a therapist but I am also human. My clients tell me that I am relatable and approachable and I pride myself on this. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe space where clients feel free to talk about difficult life experiences and their most personal thoughts and feelings. I show up authentically in the hope that my clients feel empowered to do the same.

Collaboration

Therapy with OPS is a collaborative journey every step of the way. My clients always decide where we start, where we go and how we get there. I implement frequent check-in measures to make sure we are staying on track and working toward your goals. I also regularly ask for feedback about what is and isn't working in our sessions for a therapeutic experience that is tailored to you.

Emotional safety

I value creating a safe and trusting environment for my clients. I believe that emotional safety is essential for effective therapy, as it allows individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, without fear of judgment. By maintaining confidentiality, practicing active listening, and showing empathy, I aim to foster a space where clients feel supported and empowered to heal and grow. For me, safety is not just a priority—it’s the foundation upon which all therapeutic work is built.

OPS clients describe feeling safe, heard, validated and in the driver's seat in the therapy room. My role is to guide, support and encourage clients to discover their own inner strengths and resources when it comes to healing.
